Terms of Reality
Legal framework governing temporal defense services and causality protection.
⚠️ NOTICE: These terms are binding across all recognized timeline sectors and supersede any conflicting agreements made in alternate branches. By engaging ChronoShield services, you acknowledge the supremacy of the Chronology Protection Convention (2087) and accept liability for all causality impacts arising from your use of temporal defense countermeasures.
1. Temporal Usage Agreement
ChronoShield Defense Systems provides temporal defense countermeasures exclusively for the preservation of timeline integrity. All deployments must be authorized under Directive 7-T or equivalent national temporal security legislation.
- Clients may not repurpose ChronoShield technology for temporal manipulation, displacement, or paradox generation.
- Reverse engineering of quantum-temporal components is prohibited under International Causality Law.
- All deployments must be logged with the Temporal Security Administration within 72 hours of activation.
- Transfer of ChronoShield assets to third parties requires TSA approval and Level-3 security clearance.
2. Causality Warranty
ChronoShield guarantees the following causality protection standards:
- 99.97% prevention rate for Class-1 through Class-6 QTDE events under standard operating conditions.
- Class-7 events are covered under the Catastrophic Temporal Displacement Rider (additional fees apply).
- Timeline Restoration Protocol coverage is limited to 500 years of affected timeline per incident.
- ChronoShield is not liable for paradoxes created by client actions independent of QTDE events.
3. Paradox Liability
In the event of a paradox formation arising from ChronoShield countermeasure deployment:
- ChronoShield will deploy Timeline Restoration Protocol at no additional cost if the paradox is attributable to system error.
- Client-caused paradoxes (e.g., unauthorized timeline observation post-restoration) are billed at standard restoration rates.
- Grandfather Paradox scenarios void all warranties and require UN Chronology Council arbitration.
- Bootstrap paradoxes are considered “self-resolving” and do not qualify for restoration services.
4. Timeline Branching TermsChronoShield acknowledges the Many-Worlds Interpretation as the operational framework for timeline management:
- Branch timeline creation resulting from QTDE events is the financial and legal responsibility of the originating threat actor.
- ChronoShield may quarantine branch timelines for study, training, or containment purposes.
- Clients may request “pruning” of minor branch timelines; requests are evaluated by the Causality Ethics Board.
- Personnel crossing into branch timelines assume all risks and waive jurisdictional claims in the branch reality.
5. Chroniton Radiation Disclaimer
ChronoShield countermeasures operate within safe chroniton exposure limits as defined by the Temporal Health Organization (THO-2090 standards):
- All personnel within 50km of active dampening fields must wear THO-certified chroniton shielding.
- Long-term exposure to temporal anchor nodes may cause minor temporal drift in biological systems (typically <0.003% aging differential).
- ChronoShield is not responsible for precognitive abilities, déjà vu amplification, or temporal synesthesia reported by nearby civilians.
- Pregnant individuals and minors are advised to maintain a 100km exclusion radius from active QTDE events.
6. Governing Law
All disputes arising from ChronoShield services shall be resolved under the Chronology Protection Convention (2087), the UN Temporal Accords (2090), and applicable national temporal defense legislation. In cases of inter-timeline jurisdictional conflict, the UN Chronology Council holds final arbitration authority.
These terms are effective across all timeline sectors and are not subject to retroactive modification except through verified timeline restoration protocols approved by the Temporal Security Administration.
